Graham McCarthy is an Honors Graduate from VCU's Communication Arts Program.
He values traditional drawing techniques and explores how to best pair them with his digital skillset. His work conveys a variety of different narratives, some bizarre and others heartwarming. His maximalist illustrations create rich universes for his viewers to explore. More than anything, he hopes that this exploration is rewarding for the audience. He believes a fully rendered image is one others will discover new meaning in. This sense of discovery fostered his love of drawing in the first place, so instilling it in others is the ultimate goal.
